The results are in, and Belize is once again on TripAdvisor’s 2018 Awards List! Making both the World and Central American categories are resorts like Coco Plum Island Resort, the Phoenix Resort and Vanilla Hills Lodge. The list is determined based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected throughout the year from TripAdvisor travelers worldwide. A travel planning and booking site, TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards have been handed out for 16 years, having recognized 8,095 properties in 94 countries and eight regions around the world.

Making its big mark this year was Coco Plum Island Resort, which ranked fourth in the Top 25 Small Hotel, 7th among the Top 25 Hotels for Romance, and 9th on the Top 25 Hotels for Best Service in the World Category.

The Phoenix Resort in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye also made a splash once again. The resort placed 12th on the top 25 Luxury Hotels in the World Category and placed 2nd on the Top Ten Luxury Hotels in the Central America category.

In San Ignacio, Cayo, Vanilla Hills Lodge placed FIRST in the Top 25 Bed & Breakfasts and Inns in Central America!
