We love spotting travelers flipping through My Beautiful Belize as they discover our beautiful country, but it’s just as exciting when you take us along on your adventures around the world. From sandy beaches to bustling cities and hidden corners far from home, My Beautiful Belize has been making the journey right alongside you.

These snapshots are more than photos; they are shared stories, connections, and a reminder that the spirit of Belize travels far beyond our shores. Keep them coming, we love seeing where you take us next.

Here are a few memorable moments our readers have recently shared with us.

Colette Kase from Mérida, MX, takes time to read My Beautiful Belize while visiting the chapel at Hacienda Santa Lucía Kantoyná in Conkal, Yucatan, Mexico. The colonial-era hacienda, likely dating back to the 17th or 18th century, is roughly 200–300 years old. It has been beautifully restored, offering a romantic, garden-filled setting ideal for luxury weddings, private events, and tranquil boutique stays.

While staying at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge in Bonero, Adam and Jackie Feldman from Livingston, Montana, USA, and Brittney O’Daniel from San Pedro Town, Belize, share a copy of My Beautiful Belize with a Malaysian-heritage dance group. Traditional Sabah dance unfolds in graceful, birdlike movements to the rhythm of gongs, offering a beautiful and intimate glimpse into Borneo’s living cultural heritage.

About the Author: Tamara Sniffin

I’m a sucker for a fuzzy face, a feathered face, a face with fins or even one with scales! I am in love with the creatures and the flora that are synonymous with Belize and every opportunity I have to learn more about them and explore their wild habitats I am there! I’m the happiest when I’m snorkeling the reef and swimming with turtles, however my passion is not just limited to critters! Laced throughout this compact jungle gem of a country live the Kriol, Maya, Garifuna, Mestizo and Spanish people, and experiencing each culture, especially their celebrations is one of my favorite pastimes.
