Can we start counting the days until Christmas yet? With just around 50 days left for the most festive season, we can safely start planning for gifts, holiday parties, and even a holiday vacation. You also may want to Save the Date for the 2019 San Pedro Holiday Boat Parade – the colorful island tradition that lights up the coast of Ambergris Caye.

Scheduled for Saturday, December 7th starting from 6PM, the merry journey from Wayo’s Beach Bar south to Crazy Canucks Beach Bar (and back) brings much seasonal joy to our little Caribbean island. All are welcome to this spectacular light show of decorated boats in Christmas décor. The parade ends at SandBar Beach Hostel and Restaurant with a grand award ceremony where prizes are awarded in four different categories. There will also be several viewing locations on the beach along the parade route offering special Christmas treats.

But it’s not just a parade, in the true spirit of Christmas, as the San Pedro Holiday Boat Parade serves as a fundraising event for charitable organizations on the island.
