We love seeing travelers flip through My Beautiful Belize as they explore our beautiful country, but it’s even more fun when you take us along on your journeys around the world! Here are just a few memorable snapshots readers have recently shared with us.

Where will your photo be taken?

Joelle Zajk from Arlington, Virginia (r), and Jennifer Crowley from Saint Augustine, Florida, friends for over 25 years and longtime travelers to Belize, read My Beautiful Belize while visiting Key West, Florida. Nicknamed the Conch Republic, Key West has a simple yet meaningful flag that reflects its unique cultural and political identity. In 1982, the city symbolically seceded from the United States in protest of a federal roadblock, declaring itself the Conch Republic in a humorous yet pointed stand against government overreach—a spirit that still defines Key West’s independent, quirky character today.

While exploring the breathtaking Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado, the engaged couple, Brett Green and Bailey Sniffin, take a moment to read My Beautiful Belize amid the stunning backdrop. Framed by golden aspens and mirrored in the still waters of Maroon Lake, the Maroon Bells—two iconic peaks in the Elk Mountains—are among the most photographed in North America. Renowned for their dramatic beauty, these soaring 14,000-foot summits offer a picture-perfect backdrop, especially at sunrise and during the vibrant fall foliage season.

About the Author: Tamara Sniffin

I’m a sucker for a fuzzy face, a feathered face, a face with fins or even one with scales! I am in love with the creatures and the flora that are synonymous with Belize and every opportunity I have to learn more about them and explore their wild habitats I am there! I’m the happiest when I’m snorkeling the reef and swimming with turtles, however my passion is not just limited to critters! Laced throughout this compact jungle gem of a country live the Kriol, Maya, Garifuna, Mestizo and Spanish people, and experiencing each culture, especially their celebrations is one of my favorite pastimes.
