Thanksgiving – Belizean Style
Belizeans don’t traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving as it’s not a national holiday in Belize, but the day is still widely acknowledged—especially because of the country’s close ties to the United States. Many Belizeans with family abroad, as well as local resorts, restaurants, and expatriate communities, enjoy special Thanksgiving dinners, often blending U.S. dishes with Belizean flavors. So while it’s not an official holiday, Belizeans certainly join in the spirit of gratitude, good food, and togetherness.
