The 5th annual Cocktails for Manatees fundraiser is here! Mark your calendar for Friday, February 14th, 2020, at Old Belize KUKUMBA Beach, from 8:00 pm until midnight! Admission is only $40.00 and the event will feature live music from the Youth connection band & DJ Fabulous, appetizers, socializing, silent and live auctions, raffles, cash bar prizes & surprises for everyone.

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research institute formally Sea to Shore Alliance is a non-profit organization that works to protect and conserve our world’s fragile coastal ecosystems and endangered species that call them home. The endangered Antillean manatee and its habitats is our focus in Belize which hosts the last stronghold of this endangered subspecies. Our biologists and ecologists combine passion for work with technical expertise to conduct rigorous scientific research, share knowledge to ensure adequate protection for endangered species, educate the public, and conserve our coastal environments.

Last year, we were able to fulfill our mission through the support of people like you and your organizations. Your generous contribution at the Cocktails for Manatees fundraiser will aid in our continued efforts to safeguard the endangered manatees of Belize. Belize has a well-earned reputation as one of the region’s most environmentally-committed countries and in this spirit all proceeds will benefit our continued efforts in 2020.
