Run or walk a half marathon (21km), or go for the full distance (42km) in one of the most beautiful and pristine places on Earth. Learn more about the challenges for Chiquibul and contribute to its conservation.
Belizean National registration fee for 21k or 42k = $250BZ.
Registration fees include half or full marathon entrance, round trip transportation between San Ignacio to Las Cuevas, an overnight stay Las Cuevas Research Station (or overspill site), and 3 meals.

International participant entrance fee for 21k or 42k = $250USD.
Registration fee with Basic International Hospitality Package with shared airport transfers and 3 nights accommodation in San Ignacio with breakfast $595.
Registration fee Deluxe International Hospitality Package with private airport shuttle and 3 nights deluxe hotel accommodations with breakfast $995.
With the goal to minimize any negative environmental impact and trash, organizers discourage driving to the event and using private vehicles during the event. There will be no plastic bags/waters and all runners have to bring a minimum of 2-liter water system or bottles to refill. There will be one guaranteed water station on the course and you will have to stop to refill.
We hope to increase awareness of the Chiquibul, its beauty and threats, and to celebrate fitness. A portion of proceeds of this race will be shared between 2 non-profit conservation organisations: Friends for Conservation & Development (FCD) and the Belize Wildlife & Referral Clinic (BWRC) to support it’s conservation work in the Chiquibul.
