We use organic cacao grown in the pristine rainforest along the Moho River Valley in the Toledo district of southern Belize and farmed by local entrepreneurs. We create all of the chocolate sold in our shops straight from the raw cacao beans. Our chocolate is used to make chocolate bars, cookies, brownies, truffles, and many more delicious treats!
We also carry products made by the local Belizeans including cocoa butter, body scrubs, soaps, and burlap handbags made from the sacks the cacao beans arrived in. To learn more about the chocolate making process, stop by the factory in Belize City to get a tour and even create your own custom chocolate bars! Check out our unique flavors below, also available in dark chocolate.
Moho Chocolate Factory and Cafe is a socially responsible business located in the Fort Street Tourism Village in the port of Belize City.
We source all of our cacao from over 200 smallholder organic farmers in the Toledo district of southern Belize.
We offer Chocolate Factory Tours and a ‘make your own bar’ workshop to cruise ship passengers, along with chocolate related products and local Belizean handicrafts in our retail store.
Also We have Two Retail Location where enjoy the same chocolate experience as our Factory.
